At the end of this hallway, there’s a container with a tape labeled, “The Wolf’s Mask”. Expect more tripwire traps and mines up ahead. You can use either Lockpicking (8) or Nerd Stuff (5) to get inside. This room has another gate with the usual setup to the north. Otherwise, skip to the heading below about Finding the Movie Reels. If you want to explore a side area, continue reading below. Now that you’ve disabled the last set of lasers, you can head back to the attached room where you fought the Sawdog. Fortunately, there are no tricks for this room aside from opening the gate to get in. Inside you’ll find an ammo box, medical crate, and another switch to pull. This same room has a gate to the west side that requires Lockpicking (8) or Nerd Stuff (5) on the nearby computer. Interact with this to remove the third set of lasers, with only one more to go. Once you’ve dealt withthe Sawdog, the northeast side of the room has a switch on the wall. This will prevent them from spending as much AP. While certain effects don’t work on robots, Cryo Grenades are still a useful trick for freezing robots. Especially since you don’t have to worry about other enemies for this fight. So long as you start the fight by engaging first, you can get a good chunk of damage in. While the Sawdog can hit hard, try to hammer them with everything you’ve got. Be careful of the Sawdog patrolling this small room inside. The gate up ahead doesn’t require any skill checks to unlock either. They require Explosives (4) to diffuse, otherwise, you can shoot to destroy them. It won’t require a skill check, but be careful of mines up ahead. This time, make your way through the gate on the eastern side of the room. Same as before, head back to the center room. More importantly, interact with the switch on the wall, near the container, to disable another set of lasers. There will be a safe in here that requires Lockpicking (7) and a container near it as well. The door to the west side of this room has no skill check to open. Head back to the center room where you had your first battle. This switch is the first of four that will diffuse them so you can continue onward. Pulling this switch will drag the camera over to a gate where you can see four laser traps. If you have trouble seeing it, it has a small glowing green cable attached to it, on the wall. Once you’ve finished killing the Bomb Hoppers, you’ll notice a switch on the wall, across the room. This works out well for using grenades or shotguns against them. Fortunately, to the right of the entrance, there’s one pair near each other. Their main goal is to charge toward you as fast as possible and explode. Be careful of a trap in this hallway and then a bunch of Bomb Hoppers, in the next room.ĭo your best to destroy these enemies before they can get close to you. Otherwise, head through the unlocked door from the activating the generator. Also, if you haven’t noticed already, there’s a Toaster Repair (5) toaster in this room you can crack open for loot. The generator mentioned earlier requires Mechanics (5) to move forward toward the first switch. Follow each of the heading tips below that walk you through each one. Once you’ve finished the battle, you’ll now have to find four different switches to disable a set of lasers near a door. If you have a high Nerd Stuff character, you can use them to try and hack a robot to your side as well. The biggest advantage is to always make sure sure you start the fight with full AP. There’s a barrel to the left of the room entrance for at least half cover. Most cover for this fight is already deep into the room, so there isn’t a lot of opportunity to protect yourself. Don’t make the mistake of trying to disable them via the generator. Unlike many fights, the generator at the back isn’t connected to the Laser Turrets. This leads into your first Cinema Verite battle. After you head inside down some stairs, there’s another gate and computer that require Lockpicking (4) or Nerd Stuff (4). Otherwise, you may be able to destroy the gate by attacking it. The gate requires Lockpicking (8) to open or Nerd Stuff (4) on the computer. Get used to seeing a lot of these throughout the bunker with similar skill checks. Upon arriving at the old Monster Army Bunker, you’ll find a locked gate with a computer nearby. This mission is easier to complete if you have the skills Nerd Stuff (5) or Lockpicking (8) instead.
